Research Group Publications:

The Haematology Research Group based in the CCRCB in Queen’s University Belfast has published over 40 papers, reviews and chapters between July 2010 and August 2011. The funding for these studies has been obtained from multiple public and charitable sources including the NILRF, Leukaemia Lymphoma Research, Cancer Research UK and the Research and Development Division of the Northern Ireland HSC.

However, the Haematology Research Group benefits from the generous support that the NILRF awards, which enables the purchase of equipment and general laboratory consumables, as well as funding summer and Ph.D. students. In addition, all members of the Group have been supported by NILRF funds to attend and present their results at local, national and international meetings, conferences and symposia. Therefore, the overall NILRF support underpins all the activities within the laboratory enabling the Group to obtain additional funding for research.
